I had such a wonderful experience bringing my daughter to the dentist today! She had her cleaning and checkup, and the entire visit was quick and easy, we were in and out in about 30 - 40 minutes. I especially want to thank the redheaded assistant who was primarily with us. He was incredibly kind, sweet, and patient with her! After the doctor came in to explain my daughter’s dental plan, I still had quite a few questions that weren’t fully answered. He took the time to explain everything in depth, making sure I understood the reasons and felt comfortable moving forward. It really meant a lot to have someone take the extra time to answer my questions instead of making me feel rushed. He truly made an already good experience even better!

As first-time parents, deciding to have our son undergo a tongue and lip tie release was emotional and a little intimidating. At the hospital, our pediatrician wasn’t concerned about his partial tongue tie and didn’t recommend any treatment. When we came to Discover Smiles Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Ramaswami took the time to do a thorough evaluation and discovered that our son also had a lip tie that had been missed. From the initial consultation through the procedure, Dr. Ramaswami and the entire team were incredibly kind, patient, and reassuring. They explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and made us feel confident that we were making the best decision for our baby. Although no parent wants to see their child go through a procedure, they made the experience as comfortable and positive as possible. We’re already noticing improvements with breastfeeding, and we’re so grateful we trusted their expertise. If you’re a parent wondering whether to have your child evaluated for tongue or lip ties, I highly recommend Discover Smiles Pediatric Dentistry and Dr. Ramaswami. Their compassion, professionalism, and knowledge made all the difference for our family.

Honestly, 5 stars isn’t enough. I’ve been to previous dental offices that advertised as pediatric offices but have not been. There were games and activities for him to enjoy for the short wait before his appointment. My son has never been able to sit still and get a cleaning until we went here! They were friendly, patient, and very nurturing . I would recommend EVERYONE give this place a try because there’s absolutely no disappointment here.

Our experience with Discovery Smiles has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. As the parent of a child with special needs, we specifically chose this practice because of its positive reputation and reviews regarding care for children with special needs. While we initially felt hopeful, our overall experience has been so negative that we will not be returning. At no point before our children's appointment were we informed that our insurance was not accepted. After the visit, we were unexpectedly told that we owed approximately $500 out of pocket. We were assured that Discovery Smiles would bill our insurance and that we would receive reimbursement once the claim was processed. Had we been informed upfront that our insurance was out of network, we likely would have chosen another provider. Instead, we were blindsided by a large bill after the appointment had already taken place. Months later, we still have not received our reimbursement. Our dental insurance company has informed us that payment was sent to Discovery Smiles. When we contacted the office for assistance, we were repeatedly told that the office manager was "in a meeting" and would call us back. Despite numerous

my 6 year old has had three major appointments with lots of intense work done on his teeth. All staff start to finish are amazing, friendly and engaging. their waiting room is made fun for all ages to distract from the usual dentists jitters most kids experience. the dental assistants are so good at getting on your kid's level asking cool questions and are genuinely interested in your child's conversations. the dentists is amazing at explaining everything she does with your kiddos,so they know what to expect before she begins and as she goes along, she is also super encouraging as she does her work. best experience 10 out of 10 would recommend. also billing and payments are clearly discussed and easy to work with. best overall experience I have ever had.
